Digitization and technology
While a comprehensive state-wide digitization plan is not currently in place, funding from the NML can be used for upgrading technology and modernizing services, which may include digitization efforts.
Infrastructure modernization
Financial aid from the NML has supported the State Central Library in Aizawl to become an NML Model Library.
