The journey of Little Flower School, Jyoti Nagar, began in Bolangir on the 4th of July 1988. The school was initially housed in the premises of the Good Shepherd Church, under the dedicated guidance of Fr. Richard Vaz and Sr. Celin MPV. The initial strength of the school was just 35 students enrolled in L.K.G., reflecting a modest beginning but a vision that was vast and transformative. The motto of the school, “Planted to Bloom,” perfectly captured the aspiration to nurture young minds and help them flourish into well-rounded individuals.

For the first seven years, the school functioned within the Church compound, gradually establishing its identity as a center of learning and value formation. As the number of students increased, it became evident that a larger, well equipped campus was needed to accommodate the growing community. With foresight and dedication, the management acquired land 4 km away from the original location and constructed a modern school infrastructure designed to support holistic education.

In 1994, Little Flower School shifted to its new campus at Jyoti Nagar. This marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey.
