Baramulla Public School,Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir

Our mission is not merely to teach, but to ignite curiosity, instill values, and empower young minds to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. At Baramulla Public School, we believe that education should help children not only earn a living but also make a meaningful life.

With a proud legacy of academic success and moral integrity, BPS continues to nurture generations of students preparing them to face the challenges of the modern world with confidence, compassion, and competence.

Our Philosophy Learning Beyond the Classroom

Education at Baramulla Public School is guided by one simple yet powerful principle:

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”

We aim to foster intellectual curiosity and moral strength, cultivating students who think critically, act ethically, and lead with empathy.

The school’s primary objective is to:

Inculcate a rational outlook that enables students to approach problems logically and confidently.

Foster a scientific temper, encouraging observation, experimentation, and innovation.

Develop a passionate love for learning that goes beyond textbooks.

Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and motivated.

Promote holistic development spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical.

Our ultimate goal is to help each student learn how to make a life, not just make a living to grow into well rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.

A Glimpse of Our Legacy

Over the years, Baramulla Public School has evolved from a modest institution into a leading center of learning, recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and moral education. Today, we proudly educate nearly 1500 students from LKG to the Higher Secondary Level, representing diverse backgrounds and aspirations.

From the very beginning, our founders envisioned a school that would combine traditional values with modern education, ensuring that students are rooted in culture yet ready for the global stage. Every milestone achieved by our students whether in academics, sports, or service reflects that vision in action.
