The institution is named in loving memory of Late Father James Creane S.J., a visionary educator and the first Priest in charge of Gaya, whose dedication and pastoral service left a deep impact on the region. His life and mission continue to inspire the values and ethos of the school.

The roots of the institution trace back to the early 1950s, when Father Schmidt, driven by a profound sense of responsibility toward the educational needs of the local community, took the initiative to construct the first school building in 1953. Growth and Academic Expansion

Upgrade to Secondary Level (Class X)

Recognizing the genuine educational needs of the people, the then Archbishop of Patna, Most Rev. Benedict J. Osta, took a visionary step. With deep concern for students who wished to continue their education within the same value based environment, he graciously approved the upgradation of the school to Class X in 1991.

This decision marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey, allowing students to complete their secondary education without having to move elsewhere.
