Jafar Shariff, the then State Minister for Coal, Government of India, in the presence of an august gathering that included public representatives, senior officials from Coal India Limited, district administration officers, DAV dignitaries, benefactors, and well wishers. From these humble beginnings, the school has grown into a thriving center of learning, nurturing over 1500 students today.
