Historical Growth and Academic Evolution
The journey of Shri Guru Ram Das College of Nursing began in 1997, when the institution was first established as Shri Guru Ram Dass Institute of Nursing Education, Hoshiarpur. Initially, the institute offered a three year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma, addressing the immediate need for trained nursing professionals in the region.
Introduction of Postgraduate Nursing Education
Responding to the increasing national and global demand for highly qualified nurse leaders, educators, and specialists, the college further expanded its academic offerings. In 2009, the institution introduced Postgraduate Degree Programs (M.Sc. Nursing) in five major specialties, under the aegis of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
