Salty Soul Surf Shack was born from a lifelong relationship with the ocean.
Swapnil’s Journey
Swapnil’s connection to the sea began in childhood through bodyboarding. Long before surfing became popular in India, he spent his days reading waves, feeling currents, and learning the rhythm of the ocean. What started as play soon grew into something deeper a bond built on respect, curiosity, and trust.
As he grew older, that connection only strengthened. While many followed traditional paths, Swapnil listened to the call of the ocean. He made the bold decision to leave college and pursue surfing full time, choosing passion over convention.
Through dedication, training, and countless hours in the water, he earned his surf coaching certification, traveled, learned, and refined his teaching style. Eventually, the idea became clear: create a surf school that removes fear, breaks barriers, and welcomes everyone into the surf community.
That vision became Salty Soul Surf Shack.
Our Philosophy: Surfing Is for Everyone
One of the biggest myths about surfing is that it’s only for the brave, the athletic, or the experienced. We’re here to prove otherwise.
At Salty Soul Surf Shack, we believe:

Many of our students come to us with fear of the ocean, uncertainty, or self doubt. Some have never been in deep water. Others have tried surfing before and felt discouraged.
