Academic and Professional Excellence

Maxie’s commitment to learning is as strong as his passion for performance. In 1997, he was awarded a language and culture scholarship to study at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. This opportunity allowed him to deepen his understanding of European culture, language, and artistic traditions.

A Dedicated Educator and Mentor

Teaching has always been an integral part of Maxie’s artistic identity. From 1986 to 1994, he taught Guitar at the Kala Academy, Campal, one of Goa’s most respected cultural institutions. His years as an educator allowed him to shape young musicians while refining his own teaching philosophy.
